Terms of Service
Northstar Brain is an invitation-only internal knowledge and reference tool operated by the Northstar team. These terms apply to authorized use of its Google Drive reference connector and related knowledge workflow.
Authorized use
Use only accounts and information you are entitled to access. Follow the operator's access restrictions and approval requirements. Do not upload credentials, unrelated personal records or confidential third-party material into the shared brain. Do not bypass privacy checks, review gates, concurrency controls or Google and GitHub account protections.
Your responsibility
You remain responsible for the material you authorize, its accuracy, your right to use it, and decisions made from it. Review AI-generated output before relying on it or taking external action. Permission to create a draft is not permission to publish it, spend money, delete files or change sharing.
Third-party services and privacy
Google, GitHub and any separately selected AI services remain subject to their own terms, limits and availability. Use of Google-derived data must comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. Read the Privacy Policy for the connector's data practices.
Availability and recovery
The tool depends on the operator's computer, network access and third-party services. It is not a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, error-free AI behaviour or conflict-free work. Keep appropriate backups, retain unaccepted drafts, and resolve rejected or uncertain publications through the supported recovery procedure rather than overwriting shared history.
Access changes
The operator may suspend access when needed for security, maintenance or misuse. You may stop using the connector and revoke Google authorization. Revoking authorization does not itself delete previously stored material; contact the operator about retained copies.
Contact and updates
For support or questions, contact your Northstar administrator using the user-support email shown on the app's Google consent screen. Changes to these terms will be published here. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
